Creating Safe Spaces for Growth, Healing, and Connection
Rabia Syed is a licensed mental health therapist with a Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan, where she concentrated on working with Children and Youth in Families and Society, as well as received her ‘Social Work in School Settings’ specialization. Her clinical experience includes supporting families and children from preschool through high school, and working as a therapist for clients seeking support with depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma. Her clients have diverse backgrounds and needs, with many of the children she has worked with presenting with cognitive disabilities, ASD, and emotional impairments.
Her therapy style is focused on meeting clients where they’re at, whether it be a toddler, struggling to play safely with others, or a teen dealing with social pressures and changes. Whoever she is working with, the goal is always to empower clients, and work together, to grow, heal, and thrive.
